Attention To Capital Exchanges Based On Smart Contracts
In the Web 2.0 model the attention to capital exchanges are facilitated via centralised ad platforms.
In the Web 3.0 identities can directly incentivise each other to pay attention in the exchange for money.
Any identity can receive a smart-contract backed bid to send an attention transaction to a specific content for money.
Process:
- Bid: Identity B sends a bid to Identity A - “I’ll pay you x amount of bitcoin if you pay attention to content Y”
- Bid Accepted: Identity A accepts the bid and sends attention transaction to Content Y
- Value Transfer: x amount of bitcoin is automatically transferred to Identity A
Transaction described in this example is very common today with many celebrities ‘monetising’ their fame via product recommendations and sponsorships.
However, with the smart contract driven model the attention <> capital transaction cost is driven almost to zero, and can be used to incentivising attention transactions in the automated fashion and on the large scale.
